Not going out
So every Monday, I stay around my mums, which called for me to get a bag big enough to fit work clothes in for Tuesdays and also my over night stuff and two lunches etc. i found this beauty in Georgio Primarni for £6, when I first brought it home, both cats tried to get inside, until they realized that there was a Primark paper bag somewhere, which is their favourite place to play/ fight/ use as a stake out point to wait for passing ankles. I still though, have to keep the bag zipped us as they do try and get inside, and I don't think I could explain to my boss why I had Bailey at work.

A month! i ask you!
So, It has taken me, according to this blog exactly 1 month to loose 2 lbs, thats half the speed I was going at before but I knew the weight loss would get slower the lighter I became. On a less boring note, Ben and I sat at home watching funny stuff last night while drinking, Ben put on Dylan Moran, Monster, and there is a part I particularly like, about french people. View it here, I strongly advise you do!

Knock on wood
We had to take Bailey back to the vets today and we were charged £96 for the pleasure. This is her in the cat box. we had a larger one but it broke so we were forced to use the smaller Argos one, hence the fur poking out! its funny as the cat who we got for free is costing us a lot in bets bills where as Arnold seems to be the picture of health and we have never taken him to the vets (touch wood)

Wild honey dripping from a tree
I have been invited to a Disney/ characters from children's films themed fancy dress party. I have decided to go as Bagheera so have to make ears and a tail, here are some supplies i have gathered from hobby craft today, I have had to keep the feather trim away from the cats as I'm sure they would love to savage it.

No touching or wriggling
I have started tracing the line for Feb, this is the 3 pages of lines that appeared when I laid the pages of tracing paper on top of each other. By this being one of my march images, there will be echoes of February in the March line, which is a thought i rather like. The line will be uploaded soon.

Gongoozling
Today Ben and I took the bus to Stoke Bruerne. I have been there many many times but Ben has never has a good explore. I took him up to the mouth of Blisworth Tunnel, which I have always found spooky, then back again. There is nothing I enjoy more on a sunny day than sitting next to the canal drinking Strongbow. Bliss.

Spun sugar
I had a great day today spent with my cousins two kids who are 6 months and 2 years old, in London. We ended up going to the Tate Modern briefly and this is part of an installation by whom, unfortunately I do not know. The part I like most was the silvery thread it is suspended from.

Let's hear it for the caffeine
We went out for dinner to an italian restaurant in Northampton called Papa Cino's. unfortunately I was not too impressed with the food. When I got home I was in a good mood none the less, and did the washing up while listening to my 80's compilation album and danced around the kitchen, as soon as i sat down I promptly fell asleep for an hour then was rudely awakened by Tesco direct. I am now in a bad mood and I cannot rationalize it so the only answer is a stripy jumper and a cup of tea until I feel better.

10
I have mentioned in previous posts but not to much as it is boring, that I have been eating less and moving more. The result of this is that I brought some new work trousers today, in a size 10, they are a tiny bit tight, but next week they may not be, but the main thing is, I can get them on and do them up without muffin top, so I am amazingly pleased with myself.

Captain Arnicus the Great.
Today we went to Bens parents house for sunday lunch and most of his close family were there. It was a good day and I ate far too much but I don't mind as I can be good during the week. We were out most of the day so the cats were on their own, I like to think they enjoy it and get up to mischief. This is Arnold, he is from the RSPCA

Torch under chin
The evenings are starting to get lighter which is lovely as I am not in an office for all the daylight hours Monday till Friday. While I was busy looking at the sunset, I almost missed the big red moon coming up, it looked like a Lush bath bomb. I txt my dad quickly asking if he had seen the moon, he said no but he seemed to know why I was asking, as unlike me, he know that we would have a large, red moon as it is the day that Venus changes from the Evening Star to the Morning Star and is the Spring Equinox. Hurrah!
Dinner with Carroll
This is mondays image, just a day late because I was at my mums house and was too tired to upload it, anyway this is the table set for one course dinner for two by my Grandma. Although in one way it is sad, I like to look at it as a view into the mind of someone with Dementia. It shows me, in a small way, what it is like to be her, and how jumbled up things have become. In reality it has both of these thoughts but when I see it flattened as an image, for me, the table is not laid incorrectly, it is more like a wonderful Alice in Wonderland style tea party with many strange courses that I know nothing about as I'm not invited, but Grandma is.

Sunday
Chinese is one of those things that looks rancid and smells the same, but tastes good, sometimes, this is tofu with black bean sauce and it was yummy, but looking at this picture now makes me feel rather nauseous, I don't know why I do it, but I know I'll want another one soon! I've not been happy with my past 3 images or so, I am leaving this until the end of the day then i find myself taking a picture as I feel I should, rather than I have a good image that I want to share, maybe this will change now I've written about it.

Skynet
I had to go to Bletchley today to visit a department of the company to report back to my team on their processes etc, I don't really like it there as it seems to be the worst bits of MK, but I have not really explored it so I suppose my comments are unjust. There is one part of MK I really like which is the buildings around the train station, as they are very reflective and I find them quite lovely. I did well on the test by the way, second part tomorrow.

Pitter patter (not feet)
Just when I thought It was getting warmer, we have had an absolute stinker of a day, windy and rainy, i like either of these separately but not together.
I have been a little bit over excited today as I have a test tomorrow which If I pass will enable me to do something I have wanted to do since June. Fingers crossed for me.

MK
Milton Keynes is where I work, It's a thoroughly strange place, not quite a town, not quite a city, 40 yrs. old and the majority of it was built all at once, rather than evolving and growing. One good design feature is all the trees, which add a touch of warmth, and I enjoy the contrast they have against the buildings, but sometimes it seems like they are loosing a battle.
MK gets the piss taken out of it most of the time, and I tend to agree.

Facon
By the time I came to make my dinner today, I was not really in the mood to look after myself and eat healthy so pizza it is. To make the Tesco cheese and tomato taste a bit better I added Facon and green peppers. Facon is what Ben calls my vegetarian bacon, fake bacon = Facon, fake chicken = Ficken etc. One day I will rival Linda McCartney with my own veggie range including Facon and Ficken, I don't think i'll do duck though.
