Dot bow wedge, apparently

Just over a week off, I will keep up with this and have decided to fill that period in with a straight line, so off we go again.

Here is my foot, in a new flip flop brought for me by my friend Lauren at work. Yay for these, as they will also be coming on holiday with me (my feet and the shoes)

Sunday

I went out and brought myself a bikini for my holiday today, it may be a bit premature as we are not going until June but I figured it would help me slim down. That theory was blown out of the water today with the amount I ate today but tomorrow is another day, and I will start again, maybe.

Sausagefest

Ben and I went on a date yesterday to the Picturedrome, it was 3pm when we started doing shots of Jagermeifter. Anyways we left quite early, about 9 probably and stopped off to get some beers, in a shop which had quite possible the largest amount of processed meat i've ever seen. I recommend looking at this picture large to truly appreciate the full selection of shrink wrapped sausage.

A Giraffe and a dress

Today seems t be a day when I have been finding things that I have not seen in a long time, when I dug out my old suitcase, I found some clothes that I haven't worn in over a year and also a shirt that I as wondering where it was only yesterday, Im very pleased with this. Also this morning when I was searching for my purple necklace, I found this which I used to cary around everywhere, Its a note book with a red elastic band around it to hold everything in. It is full of bits of paper, notes, photographs and the details for viewing the house we now live in, and also the visitors pass that I wore for an interview for a job I have now had for 10 months.

Sunday

Why oh why do I overeat? I feel so full, sick and uncomfortable now and I was supposed to be getting back on track with the diet today after a long break. There's always tomorrow I suppose, but I always say that.

Today Ben and I went to Sainsbury's then once home sat down to out lunch, I had made myself a nice salad with mixed leaves and also some mixed pulses, I ended up not eating my salad after I found this particular leaf with a small blue thing attached to the roots, I call it a thing as i don't know if its a pesticide, fertilizer or plastic. what ever it was, it should not have been there so I called Sainsbury's customer care and spoke to Simon who seemed very concerned, so anyway, I'm sending it off to them under their request, with the original packaging and a covering letter. I will let you know what it is after it is back form lab analysis and also what kind of good will gesture I got. Yum.

Bailey went to the vets yesterday and we noticed that every member of staff was wearing Crocs. Here is a t-shirt protest.

This is not a worm, it is something else.

I wanted to take a lo-fi camera phone picture today and also I waned to document how long my nails are getting, as I am a reformed nail biter. I feel when you restrict the quality of your media, such as a camera it makes you be more creative as you can take a picture with a high megapixel DSLR with good glass and it can be of the most boring image and people will marvel in the quality. I like phone cameras and also old plastic cameras like a Holga as I feel it makes me try harder, so here is a picture of a worm in space.

Very, very tired this evening, so much so that I put my slouchy trousers on as soon as I got in and sat down to eat some easter egg. I like evenings like this.

Today is Ben's birthday, I booked the day off work and it was lovely to spend the day with him, we caught the bus to Stoke Bruerne again where I brought us lunch and we had a walk along the canal before we came home, as we were walking along the tow path we saw two ducks, pecking at something below the surface of the water which then bobbed up into view, it was another duck, a dead duck. Nice. Once we got home, we ended up watching one of the DVD's I got Ben, it was a good day which I hope he enjoyed as much as I did.

Mondays image is of a strange strange light that I brought when I was younger that now resides in the spare room at my mums, it is shaped like a cactus and it's spines are fiber-optic lights which change color, It cost me £5 and is so tacky that it is good.

Stealth cat hides in shadows. Feeling rather delicate today after yesterdays shenanigans but it was lovely and sunny which made me feel better.

Not going out

So every Monday, I stay around my mums, which called for me to get a bag big enough to fit work clothes in for Tuesdays and also my over night stuff and two lunches etc. i found this beauty in Georgio Primarni for £6, when I first brought it home, both cats tried to get inside, until they realized that there was a Primark paper bag somewhere, which is their favourite place to play/ fight/ use as a stake out point to wait for passing ankles. I still though, have to keep the bag zipped us as they do try and get inside, and I don't think I could explain to my boss why I had Bailey at work.

A month! i ask you!

So, It has taken me, according to this blog exactly 1 month to loose 2 lbs, thats half the speed I was going at before but I knew the weight loss would get slower the lighter I became. On a less boring note, Ben and I sat at home watching funny stuff last night while drinking, Ben put on Dylan Moran, Monster, and there is a part I particularly like, about french people. Knock on wood

We had to take Bailey back to the vets today and we were charged £96 for the pleasure. This is her in the cat box. we had a larger one but it broke so we were forced to use the smaller Argos one, hence the fur poking out! its funny as the cat who we got for free is costing us a lot in bets bills where as Arnold seems to be the picture of health and we have never taken him to the vets (touch wood)

Not funny

I don't know what to say today so here is something funny, and here is something that shouldn't be funny but is. I know It's wrong but I did laugh although I feel bad for it.

I have started tracing the line for Feb, this is the 3 pages of lines that appeared when I laid the pages of tracing paper on top of each other. By this being one of my march images, there will be echoes of February in the March line, which is a thought i rather like. The line will be uploaded soon.

Today Ben and I took the bus to Stoke Bruerne. I have been there many many times but Ben has never has a good explore. I took him up to the mouth of Blisworth Tunnel, which I have always found spooky, then back again. There is nothing I enjoy more on a sunny day than sitting next to the canal drinking Strongbow. Bliss.

I had a great day today spent with my cousins two kids who are 6 months and 2 years old, in London. We ended up going to the Tate Modern briefly and this is part of an installation by whom, unfortunately I do not know. The part I like most was the silvery thread it is suspended from.

Let's hear it for the caffeine

We went out for dinner to an italian restaurant in Northampton called Papa Cino's. unfortunately I was not too impressed with the food. When I got home I was in a good mood none the less, and did the washing up while listening to my 80's compilation album and danced around the kitchen, as soon as i sat down I promptly fell asleep for an hour then was rudely awakened by Tesco direct. I am now in a bad mood and I cannot rationalize it so the only answer is a stripy jumper and a cup of tea until I feel better.

I have mentioned in previous posts but not to much as it is boring, that I have been eating less and moving more.The result of this is that I brought some new work trousers today, in a size 10, they are a tiny bit tight, but next week they may not be, but the main thing is, I can get them on and do them up without muffin top, so I am amazingly pleased with myself.

Monday

This is the dining room at my mums house. It has been this way since I can remember. I don't think that I have ever seen wall paper like this anywhere else. Before it gets modernized this spring, I will have to take lots of pictures of it with my Holga as digital does not do it justice.

Today we went to Bens parents house for sunday lunch and most of his close family were there. It was a good day and I ate far too much but I don't mind as I can be good during the week. This is red nose day.I had to organize it at work and Martin agreed to let us cut his lovely long hair into a mullet. For this we raised £72.21. good work.

Air

This is our new toy, It's a MacBook Air. When I first looked at it I instantly liked it, but then became unsure of how easy it would be to use, but now that I am writing this, I like it more and more. You can read about it here.

Torch under chin

The evenings are starting to get lighter which is lovely as I am not in an office for all the daylight hours Monday till Friday. While I was busy looking at the sunset, I almost missed the big red moon coming up, it looked like a Lush bath bomb. I txt my dad quickly asking if he had seen the moon, he said no but he seemed to know why I was asking, as unlike me, he know that we would have a large, red moon as it is the day that Venus changes from the Evening Star to the Morning Star and is the Spring Equinox. Hurrah!
